It all started in 2016. Our founder, Curtis Matsko, set out to create the perfect leather journal in his Portland garage. What began as a passionate, one-man project has grown into a global community of artisans and leather lovers.

OUR ARTISAN STUDIO
We proudly own and operate our own artisan workshop, The Studio, located in the heart of León, Mexico. By managing our own facility, we ensure exceptional craftsmanship, ethical working conditions, and direct communication with our team every single day.
SUSTAINABILITY
WE ONLY USE THE BEST LEATHER IN THE WORLD
We source our hides from the beef industry, giving materials that would otherwise go to waste a second life. These hides are tanned in award-winning facilities that not only meet but continually redefine the standards for eco-friendly practices in the field.
